DESCRIPTION:

Learn to sing with your whole body, mind and spirit! This 10-week course (1 hour per session) plus a field trip video shoot day! & is for children 7 and up (younger children may be enrolled with special permission). The purpose is to provide the framework for inner guided self-expression - through voice, movement, creativity, and discussion.

In Kid's Choir, we will learn songs for FUN as well as purpose. We will combine vocal technique, breath work, listening exercises, and body awareness - to give the young voices a platform to shine. In addition, we will utilize principles of mindfulness, emotional intelligence & self-trust coupled with educational components regarding environmental awareness, native wisdom practices and the interconnectedness of all life.

SOME VERY SPECIAL FEATURES OF THIS COURSE INCLUDE:

1. Record 1 song live! Receive the mp3 at the end of the course.

2. The kids will script, prepare and act out a music video for 1 of the songs.

3. Final performance at the end of the 10 weeks.

LEARN TO SING WITH YOUR WHOLE BODY, MIND & SPIRIT! 

In the online choir for KIDS and families, we will learn songs for FUN as well as purpose. We will combine vocal technique, breath work, listening exercises, and body awareness - to give the young voices (& the young at heart) a platform to shine. In addition, we will utilize principles of mindfulness, emotional intelligence & self-trust coupled with educational components regarding environmental awareness, native wisdom practices and the interconnectedness of all life.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

1. The choir will learn a new song every month - YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR 1 MONTH OR FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!

2. When you register for the choir, you will be sent 2 instructional videos & a new song (2 technique videos and the song performance video)

3. There will be 1 video call to practice song and ask questions

4. private Facebook group (to ask questions and get suggestions - costume, props, location, intention)

5. THIS IS THE FUN PART... submit a video of your kid(s) and family (you can even invite your friends, community, church, school over to do it too!) singing the song by the 21st of each month - have family decide costume, props, location and intention!

6. All videos will be edited together to make a world wide choir video!! By the end of each month, you'll get to see yourself singing!!

THERE WILL BE 5 MINUTE EASY TO FOLLOW VIDEO INSTRUCTION FOR EVERYTHING!! FROM HOW TO RECORD THE VIDEOS TO HOW TO SING...

Kids Naam Yoga

DESCRIPTION:

Breathe, Move, Stretch and get your yoga on! Join us for this super fun Yoga class tailored just for kids - to stimulate the brain, & lympthatic, circulatory, nervous, cardiovascular systems - as well as learn skills to calm and focus.
